Safety First

Safety is our number one priority here at Studio West. In all our years of teaching we have never had a student burn themselves. We will go over all the right ways to blow glass at the beginning of each class to ensure you have a fun filled, safe experience. Each student will be given safety glass for their session and will have at least one instructor with them at all times. There are a couple of things you can do to help us maintain our sterling record:

Please try to avoid wearing synthetic fabrics such as nylon or polyester, cotton and denim are preferred.

Please try to avoid wearing open toed shoes.

Stay hydrated! Its gets warm in the hot-shop, please feel free to step out outside to cool down and drink plenty of water.

Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian accompany them at ALL TIMES. We are not a baby sitting service!

The Small Print

Classes are appointment only. We do require booking at least 24hrs before hand. Please call for same day availability.

A  50% deposit is required to book your class.

Cancellation is required 7 days before your class, failure to do will result in the loss of your deposit.

Your glass needs to anneal (cool down) overnight, so you will need to collect your creations the next day, we do however offer shipping. Glass does break unfortunately, it is the nature of the medium. It can crack and break in the kiln, if this happens, do not worry, you will not leave empty handed.
