Studio West is taking submissions for our Winter Season.

Studio West is an artist run arts organization dedicated to promoting emerging and mid career artists.

Curator

Erin Dougherty Williams was born in Naples Florida. She attended Rhode Island School of Design where she received a BFA in 2001. She has worked as an award winning professional artist and photographer for the past 10 years. She and her husband opened Studio West in 2008.

AWARDS

First place $250 and inclusion in 2 Person exhibition; awards for Second place $100.00 and Third place $75.00. All artists will be eligible for upcoming group shows.

5 Images. Digital PDF or JPEG files only. The largest image dimension (width or height) should be 1280 pixels with the other dimension proportional. Each file name must correspond with entry form title. Print your first and last name on the disc, label each image file

with first initial, last name and title of work.

__Description of work-Describe the work so that the curators understand what the piece looks or sounds like, or how it is performed. Please be brief. Visual artists must include dimensions of each piece. This is not an artist’s statement - please focus on describing the work itself.

__Artist statement - Please tell us how you view your artwork. The artist statement will serve as background material for curators; it will NOT appear in the program, if your submission is accepted.

__Artist bio- 150 Words or less.

__Résumé - 1 Page Artist Resume

__Entry Fee-A check or money order for $25 made out to Studio West.

If you wish to have your work returned to you, please include an appropriately sized SASE with the correct postage.

All works for exhibit are to be sent with shipping prepaid. Artist is responsible for cost of return shipping. All works must be either professionally crated or double-boxed. Please also include packing and unpacking instructions.

PRESENTATION

All works must be display ready, including display instructions. Identification labels must be attached to the bottom/back of work. Actual work must match image chosen by juror; no substitutions accepted.

LIABILITY

Artists’ work will be insured while on exhibit. Studio West is not liable for damage or loss in transit.

AGREEMENT

Sending entry constitutes agreement on the part of the entrant to all conditions stated above.
